Iridescent Gold Cordial (Attribution Steuben)
Erroneously known as a toothpick holder, jigger, or diminutive cabinet vase, this vessel is documented as a dimpled cordial by the Carder Steuben Club as shape 2365. It has exceptional eye appeal with its iridescent gold finish. Its dimpled body and wide open mouth matches forms made by Tiffany, Steuben, and allegedly Salviati. Based upon the precise finish of the base which compares nearly identically with a Steuben scent bottle we have, we consider this vase a Steuben Aurene product.
Regardless of its maker, it is a fine vase.
