Staffordshire Mellor & Venables Tea Set, c. 1835

English Mellor & Venables American Historical Three-Piece Tea Set, c. 1835. Pieces have state seals of the some of the orginal states including Delaware, Massachusetts, Mississippi, New York, North Carolina, Virginia, Maryland and Pennsylvania. A real very rare and wonderful set. The tea pot is shown on page 70, Historical Staffordshire by Snyder. Tea pot, 8 1/2 inches x 10 inches handle to spout; sugar, 8 inches high x 6 1/4 inches wide handle to handle; creamer, 6 inches high x 5 1/2 inches high spout to handle.
