Philadelphia Sterling Silver Fish Slice, 1840-60, Watts

Top Quality Philadelphia Sterling Silver Fish Slice, c. 1840-60, by James Watts for George B. Sharp. Original engraved initials E.N.W. Decoration engraved on the blade of florals in a circle with a lakeside scene and the mountains in the background. Marked with Watts mark of a horse head over a chevron, Sterling, James Watts in script and S with a lion passant on each side for George Sharp. There is a very tiny split in one of the notches in the blade. It must have been there when it was made. 12 1/2 inches.
