West African Islamic manuscript. 60 different double sided seperate pages wrapped in old cotton cloth. Each page 12 x 9.5 cm, brown ink on thick paper, decorated leather case with string and bead tie. Some pages stained, case split at left but complete.
West African doll from Mossi people. Wood base covered entirely in intricately interlaced thin strips of leather, 33 cm tall. Good condition, no later restoration or polishing.Ex old German collection. Undated, estimated to be early 20th century. Can be viewed in central London.
