| Width 7 cm. Contrary to the usual primary use of the white portion of mother of pearl, this box has only iridescent inlay. Leaves made of gold foil heightens the dazzling effect. Three figures stroll in a moonlit pavilion garden. The sides of the box are inlaid in a dense geometric design. The inside of the lid has an auspicious design that will remain a secret for the future owner to discover. 17th century. | ||||||
