In front of the cottage is an outdoor water pump and a large bucket. It represents what he remembered of his home in Bollendorfebruck, Luxembourg. The fine details in the painting demonstrates that this was done before he began to lose his eye sight. Purchased from the artist in the 1940's. Signed J Roeder. Oil on canvas board.
