| Japan 19th century height 6.9cm width 5.2cm Of square form with fine crackle glaze. Decorated in overglaze green, red and gold. Long twisted branches of prunus in full bloom are accented with lower growing grasses and plants. The shoulder has a design of interlocking diamond shapes and leaves. The silver cover is pierced and incised with prunus flowers. Prunus in bloom would make this perfect for springtime use. | ||||||
