This well-executed mixed metals box, ca. 1950's reflects a very demanding technique of marrying metals, employed extensively by the Los Castillo brothers. It depicts what appearss to be an Aztec sacrificial scene, drawn perhaps from a codex or stone carving. Constructed of a thick gauge silver,with a slightly domed top, accented with copper borders and feet, mahogany lined. 7 1/2"L x 5 1/4"W x 1 1/2"deep.

This ca. 1950's pitcher designed by Salvador Teran is handmade with orange mosaic inlay of a pre-Columbian motif. There is a slight dent near the bottom of the body (see pic). 7"H x 19" circumference.

A beautiful strand of pre-columbian jadeite beads, 23" in length, restrung on heavy nylon cord, with a central animal(?) carved figue. Several other beads appear to be carved. The strand consiste of beads of differing size and texture, of attractive shades of green. The tabs measure 1 3/4".
