This ca. 1940's rainbow dancer was made using the stone-to-stone mosaic technique. Made of turquoise, coral, onyx and mother of pearl, encased and set on wire bands, some of which show slight bends. The condition is otherwise very good. The figure is 2 1/2" x 1 1/4", with an inner size of 5" and a 1 3/4" gap.

Anthony Lovato is an award-winning, highly collectible Santo Domingo Pueblo, NM, artist, who began working in 1974, and was most recently included in the exhibition at the New York American Museum of Natural History. The pendant offered bears the year '95' with the artist's hallmark on the reverse. It measures 4 1/2" x 1 1/4". The chain is not original to the piece, but will be included at the buyer's request. A beautiful strand of pre-columbian jadeite beads, 23" in length, restrung on heavy nylon cord, with a central animal(?) carved figue. Several other beads appear to be carved. The strand consiste of beads of differing size and texture, of attractive shades of green. The tabs measure 1 3/4".
