Frances Patiky Stein necklace and earrings. The glass beads are 2 shades of amber Gripoix glass. The pendant and earrings have poured glass inserts. Frances Patiky Stein gave up her position as a noted fashion editor in New York to move to Paris and become the head designer of Chanel accessories in 1980. Frances is known as the queen of quilted. She also designed her own line of jewelry which stopped production in 1990. This is a great wearable example of her work. The 4 strand necklace is adjustable from 17 to 19 inches in length. The earrings are 2-1/2 inches long. All the pieces are signed FPS. |
