Set of 14 Orchid plates with elegant shaped edge done in 24K gilt. Each plate has a different orchid hand painted and artist signed by the premier British porcelain painter "Wm. H. Morley, 1869 - 1934".

Each plate has unique multi color hand painted birds and wonderful shapped rim and gilt trim. The two compotes are different sizes, the larger is 7" tall, and 9 1/2" diam. Set of 12 Minton for Tiffany dinner plates. Exquisite detail on these classic Minton plates. Tiffany’s only commissioned the best. The white border features dual acid etched gilt bands encircling a gilt floral pattern with raised hand-tooled beaded swag. Note the hand painted gilt dots between each flower. The cobalt ground features more raised hand-tooled gilding and a final acid etched band.
