For many years Edmund Grundner was a
recognized dealer in Chinese Ceramics with a particular emphasis on blue and white porcelain of the Yuan and early Ming Dynasty. His collecting trips regarding Chinese Ceramics on several
occasions led him to isolated Spice Islands - widely scattered in the Indonesian archipelago. For decades Edmund Grundner was a passionate "on-site collector" of Tribal Art of
Borneo. Starting in the early nineteen-nineties, with annually repeated, in each case for many weeks, collecting trips to the interior of Borneo - and in the meantime comeing to know very well at least two thirds of all the rivers there including all their smaller tributaries - he became one of the few existing experts on this topic. Since June 2017 retired and from then only as a private collector in the autumn of his exciting life, Edmund Grundner is now trying to pass the remaining former business stock in trade of Chinese Ceramics of selected quality.
