Very rare early Ming Dynasty Hongzhi period ( 1488 - 1505 ) blue and white bowl with Tibetian Sanskrit inscriptions.
There are also bowls of this type from the Ming Wanli period, but for Wanli the glaze of this rare bowl is too white, and so this bowl definately is from the Hongzhi or Chenghua period.
