Finely enamelled to the exterior with fibrant famille rose enamels with medallions with birds, sitting on flowering twigs. Nineteenth century. Diameter : 21,8 H : 11,5 cm. Condition : Here and there some marginal wear to the enamels, the copper bodies of the jardinieres in perfect condition.

A masterpiece of the Qianlong period (1736-95)The bronze body absolutely delightful casted and additionally incised down to the smallest detail. The beast cast seated with monster mask feet, modelled with a fierce expression portrayed by bulging eyes and bared teeth, with long curled mane and horns. The tail elegantly curved and detailed with finely incised lines. Beautiful patina. L : 18,2 cm. H. 8,7 cm. Condition : Perfect.

A small bronze figure of a rat. Qianlong period ( 1736 - 1795 ) L : 9,4 cm. H : 6,3 cm. Condition : Perfect. The style of this small rat figure was clearly inspired by the rat head which was one of the twelve animals of the Chinese zodiac created by the Italian Jesuit missionary Giuseppe Castiglione for the Qianlong Emperor in the mid-eighteenth century.( Please have a look at the last image ) They were originally part of a rococco clepsydra, or water clock. Decorated with Taotie Masks and a very nice Zhou-Style Birds-decoration in low relief against a leiwen-ground with traces of Gilding. Qing Dynasty or earlier. More detailed conclusions concerning the date of the piece might express the mark resp. the signature to the base of the vase. H : 24,3 cm. Condition : Perfect.

This censer is noticeable by its absolutely very well done, perfect shape of the body. By the particularly warm golden colour of the alloy, and by the additional decor ( with some calligraphy ) to the inside of the piece. The surface of the piece nearly appears like gilded. Unforunately why ever the images are not able to show this. Ming Xuande mark to the base of the piece. Diameter : 9,4 cm. H : 6,7 cm. Condition : Perfect
