A large Ming Dynasty dish, decorated in underglaze Cobalt blue with floral scrolls and a Chrysanthemum to the center. Pieces of this kind were found at the LENA SHOAL JUNK. A well and thinly potted porcelain tray, decorated in Famille Rose enamels with 9 magpies in flight above flowing water with wafes, fish and pink lotus blossoms. Gilt rim. The base unglazed. Tongzhi Period 1862 - 1874.

A rare, very decorative, Celadon glazed Alms Bowl, 18th - 19th century with its original wooden stand. Very nice Celadon glaze. The rim of the bowl covered with a dark brown wash, the unglazed footring covered with a pale brown wash.
Diameter : 23,8 cm. H : without wooden stand : 13,5 cm ( With wooden stand : 22 cm. )
Condition : The bowl in perfect condition. The old wooden stand broken and re - glued.
Painted in vibrant red and green tones with medallion enclosing figures in a garden.
Ming Dynasty, Zhengde - Jiajing Period, 16th. century.
Diameter : 29,3 cm. Condition : Perfect, no repair.

There is a old paper to the back of the dish in German language which indicates, that this dish was found in North Sumatra ( Aceh area ), and that the dish was purchased at the 10th of October 1973 in Medan, North Sumatra.
