The body is divided into five panels by vertical lines of applied studs, alternate panels being decorated in underglaze cobalt - blue with a chrysanthemum spray and alternate with a lingzhi fungus motive. This is the fourth piece of the rare collection of Song Dynasty fluted cups. A extremely rare museum quality fluted cup.
The only one piece in the collection which is from the northen Song period.
Perfect potted Porcellaneous stoneware body covered with a very nice olive-green Yaozhou glaze to above the foot-rim. D : 9 cm. H : 5,4 cm. Yaozhou kilns, Shaanxi province. Normally it is hard to find one single piece from this kind.
There are three different Longquan ware cups, one rare Yaozhou kiln cup and one blueish grey glazed possibly Guan ware cup.
These cups normally are a " must " for every serious collector of Song Dynasty ware.
A very rare, perfect and for this kind of ware very big saucer dish. Decorated with splashed brown iron spots and a Yingqing ( Qingbai )glaze over a porcelain body.
Base flat and unglazed and the rim unglazed.
