| The quality of the carving is extraordinary. This bamboo brush pot comes from an old German collection, there still is an old inventory number to the base of the piece. There is a Chinese inscription to the piece which can be translated as follows : "the boat is ready to go to heaven, the prince will go seek help from god". Qing Dynasty, nineteenth century or earlier. H : 14,4 cm. Diameter : 10,9 cm. Condition : Perfect with a nice patina. | ||
