The body of pear shape with a faux bois ground. The front face and the reverse – medallion superbly enamelled. The interior and the base of the vase white glazed. Iron-red Shengdetang – Mark to the base of the vase. Exactly written iron red Shengdetang – marks were common during the Daoguang period ( 1821 – 1850 ) and were used until the Republican period. The Shengdetang marks of the Republican period. were written in a poor quality. This vase is probably from the Republican although the very exactly written mark of this vase even could point to an earlier date. H : 25,6 cm. Condition : Perfect.
