Finely worked in satin stich in highest Imperial quality, in different colours with five bats and sound stones . These stand for the five blessings : old age, wealth, health, goodness and natural death.
This work of the Imperial Qianlong workshops is most probably a part of an Imperial Qianlong throne cushion cover, later bordered with modern high-quality adornments.
Qianlong Period ( 1736 – 1795 ) . The gold adornments 19th/20th century.
