A pair of thinly potted porcelain bowls, brilliantly enamelled with a "Three Friends of Winter" decoration ( pine tree, bamboo and flowering prunus ). Iron red Daoguang seal mark to the base. Daoguang Period (1821 - 1850) or a little bit later. Size : There is a slight difference in the size of the bowls, which happens quite often on bowls produced during the Daoguang Period : One bowl has a diameter of 11,7 cm. and is 5,4 cm. high. The other bowl has a diameter of 12 cm. and is 5,7 cm. high. Condition : Perfect. Provenance: Old German collection, the pair later was sold by a reputable German Auction House.
