Unusual late 19th century Chinese export cufflinks, their fronts are turtle shell with silver Chinese character for HAPPINESS, and the backs are silver in a shape of bamboo stems. Very well made, in excellent condition. Length 0.87 inches, total weight 4.7 grams.

19th century Chinese silver hairpin with chased decoration of flowers, the leaves are enhanced with enamel, and with a Chinese hallmark on the back. Made for Straits Chinese (known as Peranakan - persons of mixed Chinese and Malay/Indonesian heritage), lower grade silver, beautiful sharp work, some losses to enamel, overall in great condition. Made for export, superb carving with portrait quality face and excellent depiction of swirling leaves and vines decoration of his robe.
