19th century Chinese export silver salt shaker with floriform body section and two relief characters on the sides meaning LONG LIFE and HAPPINESS, respectively. Excellent crisp work, could use some cleaning, hallmarked on the bottom with 1 Chinese stamp and 2 stamps reading 90 and WH, respectively. Height 1 13/16 inches.
Late 18th century (around 1780s) Chinese export porcelain cup and matching saucer made for the American market. The cup is enameled on the outside with a floral spray in 4 colors, and 3 sprays in blue. The inside of the saucer is decorated in a similar manner, some wear to the central sprays. Very nicely painted borders. Typical 18th century potting and original blemishes, wonderful painting, overall in excellent condition, no cracks or repairs.
