Rather rare 18th century Indian bronze votive sculpture of Shatrughna with his raised right hand holding a flywhisk. Rare icon. Shatrughna was half-brother of Rama (they shared Dasharatha as father), and thus also inherited Vishnu’s divinity. Excellent casting and detailing, great patina, beautifully worn on the face as to be expected on a 200 year old devotional piece. Height 3 1/16 inches.

Garuda, being the mount of Vishnu, is regarded as representing essential qualities of the deity in animal form, and was worshipped as deity itself. 19c Indian bronze votive statue of Krishna crawling holding in his hand a butter ball, which he stole from a storage in his house. Pleasantly chunky and heavy excellent piece, highly detailed, superb depiction of his rich jewelry. Beautiful wear to the areas that were touched during worship, very nice feel of age. Height 2 7/8 inches.

Late 18th to early 19c century votive Indian bronze sculpture of Balakrishna (dancing baby Krishna) with the right leg raised, holding a butter ball in his right hand, and his left arm outstretched. It is rather unusual to see this image without a snake support for its right foot. Excellent casting and detailing - see his jewelry and face. Great dynamic posture, wonderful patina overall. 18th century small Indian bronze votive sculpture depicting Shridevi - a form of Lakshmi, the consort of Lord Vishnu. She is holding an open lotus in her left hand. Very nice casting - see her graciously bent figure, beautiful warm brown patina, high devotional wear with traces of sandalwood powder in crevices, overall in great condition for a votive piece.
