| Early 19th century votive Indian bronze Shiva lingam protected by Naga (cobra) with extended hood, and with a small figure of Nandi - the bull of Shiva - on the side of the lingam. Cast in Karnataka state, good casting and detailing, beautiful patina from being touched, compressed dust in crevices, very pleasant feel of age. Height 3 1/8 inches. | ||
