| Old Chinese hardstone brushrest carved in a form of 3 craggy mountain peaks with foothills and crevices. Nicely finished dark green to black hardstone with lighter colored striations: it is hard and looks like jade, but can be scratched by a steel blade. Very good piece for a scholar’s table, wonderful tactile object. Length 4 7/8 inches, height 2 1/16 inches. | ||
