Superb quality rendition of shape, texture and color of the vegetable, very pleasant to the touch. Signed RYOKUZAN on the inlaid cinnabar plaque - this brilliant and very distinct artist is listed on p. 883 of NETSUKE & INRO ARTISTS AND HOW TO READ THEIR SIGNATURES by George Lazarnick.
