| Chinese bamboo box for storage or to hold tea caddies. The box is decorated with carvings of flowers and calligraphy, and the god of longevity is shown on the lid. The box measures 6 1/2" tall x 9 1/4 wide x 6 1/4 deep, and dates to the turn of the Century. Condition: The condition is excellent with all the original pieces of bamboo and all the original hardware. There is some separation of the top edge molding at one side, but all the pieces are still there, in place. The top lid is still lined with it's original old piece of Chinese cut velvet; it is in tack but looking very old. If you are interested I can send additional pictures of the interior.
