The C & A Railroad was charted in 1834 and was one of the earliest railroads in America. Depicted here is the Planet engine and its cars awaiting departure from the river while the steamboat William Penn sits docked in the background. Print is laid on board and is lightly toned. Print measures 15" x 32;" matting is 21" x 38."
1961 Print of Original Pen and Ink Drawing, Pencil-Signed and Numbered 26/100. There is some tape residue around the edges of the paper, which does not affect the lightly-toned image. Sheet measures 9 1/4" x 11;" matting is 12" x 16."
This is a Special Edition of Fine Prints: "Photographs of Yosemite" by Ansel Adams. This is print 169 of S.E.Y. No. 3. Signed by Ansel Adams on the front, and "El Capitan" on the back. The print alone measures 9 1/2" x 6 7/8" and is matted. Circa 1964.
