Full Title: "The Right Hon. Gertrude Viscountess Villiers." Engraving after F. Calze, published April 20, 1773, London. Bold Mezzotint engraved portrait with a few wrinkles in the central top portion, probably caused from having been rolled. The plate mark was impressed strongly into the paper, causing some splitting along the platemark; there are also some old tape repairs along these splits. Sheet measures 22" x 16 1/2."

Original Woodblock Print from the "Illustrated London News" on January 23, 1858. Nice condition overall. Sheet measures 10 7/8" x 15 3/4."

Etching on laid paper. Published in 1904 by G. P. Putnam's Sons. There is a poke in the upper left-hand corner of image and an inch-long glass scratch and three or four pin-size scratches in the upper blank area inside the platemark. Sheet measures 17 1/8" x 13 3/4;" matting is 18 3/4" x 13 3/4."

Light toning; good condition overall. Sheet measures 14 3/4" x 11 1/2;" matting is 19" x 16."

"Expedition of Damietia," "Liberty of Conscience," & "Virgin of Dordrecht." Three hand-colored etchings published by John Weale, London, 1845. Very clean overall, with light foxing. Each sheet measures 20 3/4" x 13 5/8;" plate mark is 13" x 7 1/4." All three sold together.

Two hand-colored botanical engravings, "Nila Hummatu" and "Perim-Kara," from Hortus Indicus Malabaricus, Amsterdam, 1678-1703. Engravings on laid paper, both printed as double pages with vertical folds in the center. There is a diagonal crease running along the top edge of "Perim-Kara" starting 1 1/2" down on the right side over the left corner ending above the plate mark. Each print measures 15" x 18." Sold as a pair.

Signed 'G. Cruikshank del' in the lower left-hand margin. This work was formerly matted, and the glue residue remains in the margins. Small areas of the top surface of the paper pulled up in a couple of spots; one affects the lower portion of the 'C' in Cruikshank. Measures 7 1/4" x 9 5/8;" image alone is 6 1/8" x 8 1/4."

Paper has some light toning and margin tears, and is laid on board. Paper measures 10" x 6," matting is 13 3/4" x 10."
