Fisher was an illustrator for the "Villager" newspaper in New York City and started the William Fisher Art School in Kennebunkport, Maine. The paper has some toning and smudging but is in good condition overall. Sheet is 19" x 14 1/2."

Sketch on Crested Paper. This sketch accompanies a letter from J. Dickinson Logan to William Wister of 407 Walnut Street Philadelphia, written 25 February 1867. The letterhead also bears the same crest with 'L' and location 'Summerville' at the top. Also from the same Wister Collection, a letter from C. O. Sanford to William Wister, dated July 29, 1858, showing a hand-drawn pedigree of a dog owned by Wister, dating back 20 years to 1838...
Drawing is ca. 1870. The paper is toned, more heavily in the margins. Sheet measures 11 7/8" x 10 1/4."
Drawing is signed "Nalbandian," and measures 14" x 11." There is a toned outline in and around the drawing itself, and the top right-hand corner is bent.
Paper is laid to board and in excellent condition, with pin holes in the corners. Sheet measures 21 3/4" x 22 1/4;" board is 24" x 24."
Signed "MS." Very good condition. Measures 24 1/4" x 18 1/8."
