Signed "Mrs. J.M. Sprague" in the lower right-hand corner. The stretcher is dated Wednesday June 1, 1904 with a tag from Mapleton, Minnesota. The canvas measures 14 3/4" x 18 3/4;" the frame is 24 1/2" x 28 1/2."

Signed and Dated '87 in the lower right-hand corner. The watercolor is laid down and matted; the viewable image is 12" x 19 3/4;" the matting is 21" x 28."
