This fine English painting is attributed to Henry Calvert, 1798-1869, and measures 27 1/2" x 35 1/2." Framed dimensions: 34" x 42." Provenance: Ackerman & Johnson, London.

A Gateway of the Church of San Francisco, Autigua Guatemala. Original oil painting glued to posterboard, in excellent condition. Measures 10" x 15."

This original oil on panel, "English Landscape," is by the artist Joseph Thors (England, 1863-1900). The condition is excellent, and the painting is signed in the lower left corner. The image measures 7 1/2" x 11 1/2;" framed it is 11 1/2" x 16."

This is an original oil on canvas by Sawrey Gilpin, titled "Self-Portrait." Gilpin was an English artist who lived from 1733-1807. This work is in excellent condition, unsigned, and the image measures 30" x 25." Provenance: Estate of the Artist, his grandson Captain Gilpin, Christie's, London 545 VB.

This painting is from the ceiling fresco in the Palazzo Barberina, Room IX in The National Gallery of Rome. Both painting and gilt frame are circa 1850. Also includes a 13 7/8" x 10" photograph dated 1881 of another painting attributed to Guido Reni titled "Aurora" from the Palazzo Rospighosi, Rome. Painting dimensions: 14" x 31 1/2," framed measurements: 24 1/2" x 42."
