Binding of 3/4 blue calf leather and cloth with a gilt emblem on cover and elaborate gilt tooling on spine with raised hubs, six compartments and two red labels with gilt letters. The interior is clean and tight. There is an award bookplate on the inside paste-down: "Presented by the Lords Commissioners of the Admiralty for Meritorious Work, 1936." 9 3/4" tall.

Bound in 3/4 blue-grained leather and cloth with gilt ruling on covers and spine with six compartments and raised hubs with crowns in four of the compartments. Light wear to extremities with some chipping to counter-points and a light chip to the top of the spine. Interior is clean and tight. A bump to fore-edge, causing ruffling and a light crease to fire-edge of pages 5-35. 8 5/8" tall.
