| This black-ink-on-paper drawing by French artist Levy (1843-1918) is in excellent condition. The drawing measures 7 1/2" x 12," and is pencil-signed "A. Levy" in the bottom right, and "AL" in the bottom left. Levy studied under Gerome and debuted at the Salonin 1874, receiving an honorable mention in 1900 at the Exposition Universelle. He was an associate member of the Salon de la Nationale des Beaux-Arts from 1901. Provenance: Preliminary drawing for a painting. | ||
