Fisher, Son & Co.: London, Paris & New York (1836-1838). Volumes I and II Complete; 38 Plates & Frontispiece in Volume I and 52 Plates in Volume II. Bound in full smooth tan calf with gilt-ruled covers and gilt-decorated spines with red and black labels, raised hubs and six compartments. The spine tops are chipped. Volume II chip has traveled 1" down the front hinge with the rear, upper and lower hinge starting to rend. There is general wear on these signed bindings, but still nice overall. Internally toned and foxed with some expected age-related discolorations. 10 3/4" tall. | |||||||
