Antique Onyx and Marble Statue of a Peasant Girl The finely carved onyx and marble statue is of a young peasant girl wearing a long dress and a kerchief tied around her head, and she is holding a stick. The face and hands and feet are carved marble. A portion of the index finger of the right hand is missing and the lower portion of the stick is missing, and a hairline crack on the right arm. It signed by the artist on the backside of the base. It dated circa 1900. Size 30” high (76.2 cm)
