Nepalese beautifully cast gilt bronze Avalokitesvara which is also referred to as Padmapâni ("Holder of the Lotus". The bodhisattva has an elaborate mandorla inset with turquoise and coral, and is holding a lotus flower and standing on a round lotus plinth which is on a tiered base with auspicious symbols, the “Wheel of Law” and a pair on deer are on each side.Age: 1960-1980 - Size:23 ¾ high (60.3 cm).

This Thai wood panel is carved in high-relief, painted and with gilt accent, of three standing Buddhist figures, wearing elaborate skirts, necklaces and tall ornate crown’ on their heads. The top portion of the panel is of a scrolled floral motif. The carving is in red with gilt and blue and accents, the faces and bodies of the Buddhist deities are white. It is of the mid-20th century and is 31” high x 15” wide.

This Nepalese finely cast silver Amida Nyorai Buddha from the mid -20th century is seated in dhyanasana on a gilt wide octagonal lotus pedestal, a pierced gilt double halo mandorla with a scrolled motif and a small seated Amitabha Buddha at the top. The Buddha’s hands are in the Raigo-in mudra. It is 6 1/8” high.
