This small oil painting of a “Harbor Scene” by John Syer Jnr. (1846-1913), is a finely painted scene with a large sail boat docked on the rocky shoreline with a smaller sail boat next to it and men in a row boat nearby, with horse drawn cart near the ships, and small group of people on the beach near the cliff, and off in the distance is a ship with white sails. Signature is in the lower right hand corner. It is in the original frame with old torn paper on the back with indecipherable writing Size: painting 9 ½” x 13 ½” (w/frame 16 ¾” x 21”)

Unusual Chinese gilt bronze censor with an ornately detailed cover with reticulated top with gilt leaf motif and ginseng finial, gilt ginseng loop handles as well as ginseng feet on a separate rectangular base that has a reticulated top. Large Late 19th C Japanese bronze jardinière, footed circular form with detailed design of a crane in flight among lotus leaves and blossom motif, flared foliate rim signed with seal mark. Age: Late Meiji Period (1868-1912) Size: 14" diameter.

This exquisite Japanese bronze censor with an oni kneeling on the base with a small demon head peeking from the top of his pants, he is holding up the circular bowl with both hands, censor had an elaborate repeating motif around the body and neck, with a reticulated top with dragon finial with a pearl. There is a very small dent on the rim of the base. It dated to the 20th century. Size: 13” high
