Intricately carved and pierced Chinese Table Screen dating to the late19/early 20th century, with a central foliate medallion with figures in a garden setting, surrounding it are long tailed animals and foliage, the top posts have temple lions finials. It is late 19th - early 20th century. The size is 27” high x 24” wide x 9” deep (68.6 x 61 x 22.9 cm).

This Chinese well carved jovial figure of a Lohan with elongated ears is seated in the “Royal Ease” position, wearing a long draped robe with floral medallions and a scrolled design, holding a bowl in his right hand and in his left a string of beads, dating to the 20th century. Small Japanese iron box of the 20th century signed by Komai, of a rectangular form, the hinged lid has an exquisite mixed metal gilt floral and leaf pattern with bamboo stalks and a butterfly in flight with a gold border, and five butterflies on the front side panel. The interior lid has an incised pair of birds near a stream. The bottom has the Komai signature. It is 1 ¾” high x 5 1’2” wide x 3 ¾” deep.

Exquisitely painted Chinese famille rose meiping vase with a ring around the shoulder and above the foot, the ovoid body is finely painted with young boys in various ages. One small boy is swinging on a pole held by two older boys, and a group of small boys are trying to reach a branch held by an older boy. It has calligraphy writing on the body, and a Qianlong reign mark on the base, but of the Republic Period. It is in good condition. It is 8 ½” high (21.6 cm).

This shin-hanga oban tate-e woodblock print titled “ueno Shinobazu Pond” by Tsuchiya Koitsu (1870-1949)is of a lakeside setting in beautiful shades of blue, reflection in the water of pagoda temple and torii bridge and trees. This charming bronze Okimono of a mouse seated on his haunches is dated to the 20th century, it is a hollow casting. The mouse has a round body and large perked ears and holding his tail in both paws. The sculpture is 4 ½” high.

This small Chinese 19th century porcelain famille verte dragon vase is of a rouleau form and around the body are writhing five-claw dragons chasing the pearl on an incised wave motif ground, with a repeating diaper pattern around the shoulder and neck with a border of lappets on a smooth white ground. The base has the red glazed reign mark of Qianlong encircled with under-glaze double blue rings. It is 10” high and in good condition.
