This well carved vase is of a hexagonal form with a cover and two handles, lion head handles with loose rings as well as on the front and back sides, with a curled up lion finial, and dragons carved on the side panels, with some dark-green inclusions; on a custom fitted wood base that is inlaid with silver. These beautiful small porcelain Imari vases with fluted bodies and covers have alternating panels on a blue or white ground with gilt accents, and a dome finial with a blue and gilt tip. Age: Meiji Period (1868-1912) – Size: 9 ½” high

Chinese small carved squat tripod spinach jade censor with four loop handles and a dome top, and a reticulated bird and floral motif panels decorating the body and cover. Age: Mid 20th Century – Size: 5” high

The baluster form vases with a flowering white hawthorn branch on a blue ground. A blue line around the foot and the base has a blue double ring mark. Age: Late 19th Century – Size: 11 ¾” high.

The finely carved in high-relief mountain with two figures near a bridge with a large pine tree, multi-colored jade of gray and green hues. Age: 1960-1970’s – Size: 6” high x 10” wide.

The Chinese carved low lizard with a wide open mouth and his elaborate frilled-neck is standing on rockery. The stone is mottled with white and gold flecks. Age: 1950’s -1970’s – Size: 11” long

This intricately carving of a seated older male figure with a small child, is holding a pipe and a basket with the tail of the fish sticking out and behind him are two fish on a pole. Age: Mid 20th Century – Size: 8 ½” high

This exquisite standing elephant is finely cast with realistic detail seen in the face and trunk and loose skin. The sculpture is standing on a custom carved wood base. It has a Chinese mark on the bottom. Age: Late Meiji Period (1868-1912) – Size: 13-3/4” high x 16 ¾” wide

This tall and intricately carved lapis carving is of two sinuous dragons with the “flaming Pearl”, with openings throughout and on a carved wood base – Age: Mid 20th Century – Size: 16” high x 7 ½” wide.

This is a magnificent bronze snake with red glass eyes and the overall form is well designed and on the top portion are two small feet which can be seen one of the photos. When you turn it upside down you will see two small hearts. The artist is unknown. Age: Mid 20th Century – Size: 16” high

This exquisite Chinese jade bowl is finely carved with undulating dragons in high-relief with “flaming pearls” and around the wide border of the opening is a cloud motif. It is on a custom fitted silver inlaid base. Age: Circa 1950’s – Size: 7 ½” high x 211/2” wide x 16” deep.

Oil painting of a still life by Stan Pociecha Poray (1888-1948) on masonite, the Taoist god Guandi is seated on a low platform, holding a small scroll, and his other hand is raised with two fingers extended; an archaic green Shang-style bronze Hu, all against a background with tree branches. The artist signature Stan Pociecha Poray is in the lower left-hand corner. He painted still lifes later on in his career. The gilt frame has signs of age. Size: 18” x 15”

The superbly carved and lacquered wood boat with a male holding a pipe while seated on the stern of the boat and the female figure is standing and holding a parasol. Their clothing is decorated with gilt lacquer decoration, signed by the artist Suke Yasu. Age: Meiji Period (1868-1912) Size: 6” high x 12” wide x 4 ½” deep

The exquisite female dressed in traditional clothing is carrying a bundle of wood on her head with her left arm extended, and is standing on a wood base that had a small plaque with the artist’s signature. The Okimono is finely carved of boxwood. Age: Meiji Period (1868-1912) Size: 10” high x 9 ¼” wide

The finely carved “Celestial Goddess” is emerging from a clam shell and is holding a precious jewel, she has a phoenix crown on her head, the clam shell is positioned on the waves. Age: Mid-20th Century – Size: 9 ½” high x 12” wide x 5” deep.
