Pair of early 20th century Chinese porcelain vases of a square form, finely painted in a mirror image – in polychrome a pair of phoenix perched on a taihu rock with cranes and birds in flight, peonies with mandarin ducks and pair of birds perched in a tree, on a orange ground. They both were drilled to be used as lamps and each are on custom fitted carved wood bases that are also drilled. Vases are 11 ½ high and including the wood bases they are 13 ½” high. On the base is China written in black ink and a sticker from Wing Yick Co.

Chinese Eastern Han apple green-glaze red earthenware Hill Jar, lid is depicting mountainous peaks, underside of the lid has an amber glaze, molded circular body has low relief scene with a figure riding a horse and animals in various pursuits, taotie masks on either side, interior with a green and amber glaze with an iridescence on the bottom, the base is glazed, on bear tripod feet. This decorative armchair is of a rectangular form with open back and sides. The back splat is painted with a landscape scene, and jutting out alongside the splat are angled rectangular forms as well as along the sides of the arms, they are painted with a floral motif. The seat is with a detailed landscape scene with pagoda buildings that are overlooking a lake, the apron has a floral motif. The stretchers show signs of wear. Condition: signs of wear throughout. China: 19th Century Height: 36 ½” x 23 ½” wide x 17 ¼” deep (seat 19 ½” ht.)

This Chinese famille verte porcelain rectangular jardinière is dated, circa 1900. It is octagonal with four small feet, and is finely painted with a green dragon on one side and lavender and brownish dragon on the reverse side. The octagonal corners each have auspicious symbols from the “Eight Treasures”, and the border around the rim has a repeating diaper pattern with a flower in the center of each side. There are signs of wear on the rim. It is 3 ¼” high x 8 ¾” wide x 6 ¼” deep.
