It is a continuous scene of a landscape setting with male and female figures in various pavilions engaged in conversation or practicing the arts, with a daimyo dressed in his elaborate regalia riding a black horse with a red saddle blanket, with his retainers in the foreground, a layer of gilt clouds meander throughout the landscape, ink, colors and gilt on paper.
