Owl Andirons: These Cast iron owl form andirons with glass eyes through which the fire glows were made by the Howes foundry of Boston, Massachusetts around 1900. The glass eyes have no cracks or breaks, the log holders have been replaced with accurate custom made ones.Owl form andirons were popular during the Arts & Crafts era and were made by several foundries in New England.
