| This Japanese abacus is approcimately from the mid 1900s. The abucus is made from wood (two pieces attached together) and wooden beads are place one at the top and five at the bottom, which indicates that the abacus is an old type (the contemporary type has four beads at the bottom). The back of abacus says, 'Rolled Oats Whole Sale Maehara Shop.' The dimensions: 4 1/4" wide 13" long 1 1/8" thick | ||||||
