Pair of tall sterling weighted candlesticks c.1925 13.5"high. Removeable original sterling bobeches. Each bears the mark of Harold Stabler, London, 1925. Slight bend to one bobeche and one stick has a virtually unnoticeable depression on the base, otherwise fine condition.

c.1920. An impressionist scene of Central Park in NYC. Myer was born in Tylerville,CT. He was a pupil of Twachtman and shared a studio with William Merritt Chase in NYC. Along with Chase and Childe Hassam he was a member of the Shinnecock Long Island Art School.Modern frame. Listed in "Who was who in American Art". Fine example of American impressionism. Signed lower left. Painted on academy board. Excellent condition. Sight= 12" x 16.
