Made during the 18th-19th century, lavender scent bottles as this were sold at spas. Luckily, some of these charming bottles have survived. They usually contained lavender perfume. Superb walking stick or cane with hand carved ivory dog's head. There is a decorative gilt metal piece between the head and the stick which I think is sterling as there is a tip on the bottom that is marked sterling and it is gilt also but the piece at the top is not marked.
