Featuring a fine Japanese pipe with silver mounts on either end and bamboo in the middle. The mouth piece appears to be copper or mixed metal and below that there is great work with a dragon in clouds and inlaid mixed metal eyes. The bamboo piece has painted designs in black to look like clouds. Not sure of the technique in painting this, maybe ink. The pipe piece also has a design tooled into it, probably relating to the dragon motif. There is a hallmark on both metal pieces(see photo of one). ...click for details

Featuring a rare, fine sterling silver heart shaped art deco design 3 footed dish signed K. Uyeda 950 sterling. This maker was a fine company in Japan in the early 20th century. Interesting deco design on handle. Measures 6" x 4.5". Weighs over approximately 3.5 ounces on regular scale. Wonderful condition. No wear, damages, scratches, dents or repairs. A very unusual Chinese carving of a mystery ball, which are balls carved within balls. This was so difficult to carve and took much skill. The chain at the top appears to have been carved out of one piece. It is connected to a ring on the hat of the figure, perhaps a Chinese diety holding a lotus stem around her neck and a lotus leaf on her head. She has been connected to the balls. Featuring an excellent 4 3/4" tall 19th century German Meissen Chinoiserie figurine of a woman, dressed in 2 piece tunic style costume, holding a bell in one hand and pointing at something with the other. The facial details, with Chinese influence(Watteau), and hair are very carefully painted as is her 2 piece costume with gilded and wine colored flowers.
