An early and fine cloisonne napkin ring made by one of the best makers of Japanese cloisonne in the late 19th century, Namikawa Yasuyuki. Measuring 7/8" wide and 1 3/4" in diameter. With 3 butterflies, flowers and scrolls on a slightly speckled tan background and a typical arrow like boarder. These napkin rings are pictured in the photo from 1902 by C.H. Gorgeous Japanese porcelain tea cup/saucer with fine decoration painted by hand in the late 19th century in the Arita/Imari area of Japan. Featuring a fine Japanese black lacquer box with 3 gold and silver medallions with geese flying over grasses, another with kiku (cherry blossoms), floating on water, and the last with chidori flying over waves. Three typical, beautiful motifs in Japanese design! The box dates circa 1900. Featuring a dramatic antique Japanese carved wood netsuke of gamma sennin, one hand to his head, his sleeve blowing in the wind, and the other hand holding a frog on his leg.
