Handsome, fine quality china plate of family in pastoral setting in classic style.The scene looks as though it could have been hand painted, but on very close inspection, one can tell that it is excellent quality transfer decoration from the early 20th century. This pair of grape scissors are unique with the rams heads on each handle seen from both sides. I have never seen any grape shears like this before. They are American made and are marked sterling with a hallmark that I have not identified. It almost looks like the Gorham hall mark, but I am not certain. Very fine and early. Excellent Gorham small ladies flask/bottle with beautifully hand worked repousse flowers.Gorham hall mark and rooster which dates it to 1890. The cleverly made hinged top with original cork screws in a groove to open and close it so that it shuts tightly. The flask measures 5 1/8" long by 2 3/8" wide and weighs 2 1/2 ounces on a regular postage scale. the top is engraved with intials and has a slight dent on one side(see photo).
