Featuring a small rare English speckled brown on cream color porcelain scent bottle realistically modeled to resemble a birds egg by McIntyre &Co. of Burslem. Screw on top assayed by "C.S. F.S.", date mark "r" (1881-1882) and anchor(Birmingham). The top is engraved with initials "LS" or whatever you might like them to be. It measure 1 1/2" long and is in perfect condition. This is a wonderful porcelain Capo Di Monte demitasse cup and saucer dating to the 3rd quarter of the 19th century. The hand painted raised molded scene depicts the sun god in a 2 horse drawn chariot, a third horse, a tower, and some other mythological deities/figures(one with a snake).
